About Costa Rica

About Costa Rica.

Straight answers. No jargon. If you don't see yours here, ask us directly — we answer every note personally.

We cover Guanacaste beaches, Arenal volcanoes, and the wild Osa Peninsula. Highlights include Four Seasons Peninsula Papagayo, Nayara Springs in Arenal, Nekajui (a Ritz-Carlton Reserve), and Hacienda AltaGracia by Auberge in the Talamanca Mountains.

Dry season runs December through April and is the most popular window. Many properties (especially Arenal, with its own microclimate) are excellent year-round. Green season (May–November) is lush, quieter, and cheaper — rain usually falls in short afternoon bursts, not all day.

One of the best in the Americas. Four Seasons Papagayo and The Springs Resort offer serious kids' programming, and the country's wildlife — sloths, toucans, monkeys, sea turtles — gives families built-in adventure. Multi-gen trips thrive here.

No special vaccinations required for most travelers. CDC recommends routine vaccines and may suggest hepatitis A or typhoid depending on your itinerary. No malaria prophylaxis needed for the resort areas we book.

Nature immersion most Caribbean islands can't match — active volcanoes, cloud forests, wildlife encounters, and adventure alongside luxury service. It's for travelers who want more than beach and pool, without sacrificing comfort.
